Just washing her hair in the tub is a fiasco. She went 4 days while camping without a bath because I didn't want to hear the inevitable shrieks when I dragged her through the campground shower. I hope you two had a great weekend together. I know it's bittersweet when you send your child off, but I always tend to get over it very quickly. Maybe when we have a 90-degree day we can go back and try it out with her. She still had a blast on the other side of the park where all the non-water related rides were. This is a perfect way to get her over her "water on the head phobia". She's not going to emit any sounds other than joy around people who aren't Mom and Dad. She's going to suck it up and have fun. Trust me on this one. She will NOT lose face. She wants to be a big girl. When you meet for breakfast, say nothing. Tell her to have a great time and send her on her way. Kids are amazingly adaptable... Just when you think they are going to melt down or freak out, they don't. I know this. I've been there... Happy 4th! xo LBC PS Good luck with the dog.
