I know exercise is hard, but I think you can do more than you think you can.  I started with half a mile.  That is nothing in the grand scheme of things.  However, it was a start, and I kept adding more and more distance.  I took stuff to make my knees hurt less, I invested in really good shoes, and I just kept going.  Before, ahem, winter hit, I was up to over 3 miles.  You can do it!
