I’m on Plurk!
If you haven’t tried Plurk yet, it’s yet another social network/micro blogging thingamatool that allows you to chat and document the minutiae of your day. It’s a little more dynamic and versatile than Twitter, however when I first signed up I felt as though I was cheating on Twitter. Then I felt silly posting to both Twitter and Plurk because who really cares that much about what I’m doing?
Still, if you’re a blogger hell bent on exposing yourself to the masses, Plurk is yet another way to put yourself out there. There’s also a fun and competitive component to Plurk that awards you “karma” points for participation. The more you Plurk, the more karma you receive. Skip a day of Plurking and your karma goes down, but you don’t want to Plurk too much because that also brings your karma down.
