Finally able to put it up in a pony tail

I’m sure you have all been dying for a hair update, and since it’s NaBloPoMo I’m going to give you one.

This is what my hair looks like after five months without a cut:

 
I chose to take a picture yesterday because I was having a fairly decent hair day.  This isn’t great, but sadly this is what decent looks like for me lately.  I finally broke down and scheduled a trim a couple of weeks from now.  I also scheduled Autumn’s first haircut on the same day and am really looking forward to that.  All the nostalgia I had about her baby hair disappeared after hearing her cry, “No no, mommy, please stop!” for the millionth time as I tried to get a brush through her hair.  We’re not going all GI Jane or anything, but she’ll lose a couple of inches, a lock of which mommy will keep and cry over fifteen years from now when the girl heads off to college.

So yeah.  Hair.  Let’s keep those quality posts coming.

And yes, that is my dork of a extremely handsome husband standing behind me with his tongue sticking out.
